Istanbul is such an incredible place; it is beautiful, it is lively, and it is home to some of the best tea and dessert I have ever had. I spent a mere 7 hours in Istanbul on a layover flight from Israel to NYC. Here is what you can do in 7 hours in Istanbul and how you can avoid some of the obstacles I faced.

Somewhere in the distance, the sound of a waterfall grazes your palette of your ears. A peach colored cloud hangs above the infinity pool, unaccompanied. Your day is just about to begin, and you already realize that you never want to leave.

Here is every reason you need to go to Barcelona solo. I did not know the names of the places I constantly saw in photographs, I did not know any of its famous streets, and certainly knew nothing about the restaurants. Coming to Barcelona, I was really an explorer. Little did I know, this was the perfect setup for a solo trip. Allow me to plead my case.
